How we ship building materials
Loading by weight
Heavy materials are placed with the permitted container weight in mind.

Palletising and crating of tiles, porcelain stoneware and glass.

Packing and securing building materials
Tiles and porcelain stoneware on pallets with stretch film and corner protection, no more than 1.2–1.5 t per pallet; sanitary ware in factory boxes with polystyrene; dry mixes in bags on pallets under film against moisture. Glass and panels upright in racks, secured to the trailer floor.
Documents and permits
Depending on the type, a declaration or certificate under GOST R and technical regulations (fire safety certificates for some materials), the manufacturer’s quality passport, and sanitary-epidemiological conclusions for board materials and insulation. High-priced imported ceramics and sanitary ware are checked against the EU “luxury” lists.

Calculating transport “by volume” without the weight: tiles and dry mixes hit the truck’s weight limit (20–22 t) long before the trailer is full, and half of the planned volume does not fit. The calculation must be made by weight and the truck ordered for the tonnage.
Which mode usually works out best
Heavy materials from Europe: a dedicated full truck via Poland, 7–14 days; from Asia and Turkey: FCL, where the weight is limited to 21–26 t per 20-foot container. Groupage only for small consignments of sanitary ware and finishing materials. Air is not used for building materials.
