Which tool you need at each stage of a shipment

Check the VAT number of your counterparty in the EU in VIES and the EORI number of whoever lodges the export declaration. Agree the delivery terms using Incoterms 2020 and go through the first shipment checklist. The customs duty calculator shows what your Russian customer will pay on import — useful when you discuss the price. - 2When you plan the transport
The route finder shows the corridors from your country with indicative prices and transit times. Are the tools really free?
Yes. All calculators and checks work without registration and without limits for normal use. The EORI and VAT checks query official European Commission services, so if one of them is temporarily unavailable, simply try again a little later.
How accurate are the results?
The calculators use standard formulas: LDM is based on a 2.4 m wide truck body, volumetric weight follows IATA and carrier rules, customs payments use the current Russian VAT and fee rates. Prices in the LDM calculator and the route finder are indicative figures based on our rates; the final rate is confirmed by a manager.
What should I do after a calculation?
If the figures work for you, send a request straight from the tool page — the calculation reaches the manager together with it, so you do not need to repeat your data. We reply within 2 business hours.
Do the tools work for shipments from outside the EU?
The EORI and VAT checks cover EU numbers (and XI numbers for Northern Ireland); British GB EORI numbers are checked in the HMRC database. The container check, LDM calculator, 3D loading and holiday calendar work for any origin, and the route finder covers European countries including the UK, Switzerland, the Balkans and Turkey.
