What each case covers
The client’s task, the scheme we chose with its route and transhipments, and the actual outcome: transit time, condition of the cargo and how customs went.
Why there are no client names
We do not publish company names or contacts without written consent: supply routes are the importer’s commercial secret. References are available on request.
Why prices differ
Groupage is priced per cargo piece — from €200 per piece and from €500 per euro pallet. Project and out-of-gauge moves are quoted individually: permits, special equipment and the lashing scheme set the price.
The tasks we see most often
Four types of request come up month after month. The first is a machine or production line from a European supplier, where downtime at the customer’s plant costs more than the transport itself: what matters here is the lashing scheme, the export declaration and a predictable release date. The second is regular groupage, where the saving comes not from a single shipment but from consolidation: pallets from several suppliers are collected at a warehouse and leave in one truck or one container. The third is out-of-gauge and heavy-lift cargo, which needs permits, a low-loader and a route checked for bridge loads. The fourth is an urgent replacement for a failed delivery, when the goods are already waiting at the supplier and the deadline is close.
What all four have in common is that the price is set by the scheme, not by a rate per kilometre: which warehouse handles consolidation, where the export is declared, how many transhipments there are and at which customs office the import declaration is lodged. That is why the case studies below say more about route and documents than about the vehicle.
For you as a supplier this means little extra work: we collect from your premises, lodge the export declaration on your behalf so you have proof of export for VAT zero-rating, and take care of transport and import clearance for your Russian customer.
