Groupage from Lithuania to Moscow: consolidation in Vilnius
Consignments from several shippers were consolidated in Vilnius into full container lots and delivered to Moscow in 11 days — regularly and without delays.
The task
Organise delivery of groupage consignments from Lithuania to Russia: combine goods from different shippers carefully without damaging the packaging, carry out customs clearance and deliver on schedule.
What we did
The goods were collected and combined at the warehouse in Vilnius with every consignment checked, and consolidated into container lots of 10 tonnes or more to optimise costs.
Delivery followed the route: road to the port of Rotterdam, sea to St Petersburg, then road to Moscow. Import customs formalities were completed in Belarus, within the EAEU customs union, which sped up clearance and simplified release.
Result
Consolidation runs promptly with no idle time, and transport costs are lower because the container travels fully loaded. Shipments leave regularly and on time, and customs clearance goes smoothly.

What it means for a supplier shipping smaller lots
You do not need to fill a container yourself. Your pallets are delivered to (or collected for) our Vilnius warehouse, checked against the packing list and loaded together with other consignments bound for Russia. You pay for your own cargo pieces, and your customer gets a regular, predictable departure schedule.
Why the price is quoted this way
Groupage (LCL) freight is priced per cargo piece: from €200 per piece and from €500 per euro pallet. Project and out-of-gauge moves are always quoted individually, because the price depends on permits, special equipment and the lashing scheme rather than on a rate per kilometre.
We do not publish client names or contacts without written consent: a supply route is the importer’s commercial secret. References from existing clients are available on request, where they agree to be contacted.
