Consolidation warehouse in Vilnius: when it beats Warsaw, and how long delivery takes
Vilnius is our second consolidation hub after Warsaw: a touch slower, but the practical choice when your Russian customer sources from Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia. Here is how collection works, what it costs, and why the EX1 export declaration is always filed remotely.
In short
Groupage through our [Vilnius warehouse](/usluga/consolidation-vilnius) reaches Moscow in 5–7 days and costs from €300 per pallet — slightly slower and pricier than Warsaw, but the sensible choice when the supplier sits in Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia.
The warehouse takes non-sanctioned cargo only, from companies and sole traders, lots from 50 kg, minimum service fee €200. For shipments out of Vilnius, the EX1 export declaration is always filed remotely, never at the warehouse itself.
How a consignment is consolidated in Vilnius
Our [Vilnius warehouse](/usluga/consolidation-vilnius) covers 2,000 m²; cargo and the full set of documents need to arrive by Monday–Tuesday to make the nearest weekly dispatch, usually Friday or Monday. Miss that cut-off and the lot waits a full week for the next one — the same mechanics as at every other consolidation hub we run.
The hub also takes feeder collections from neighbouring countries: a pickup in Latvia adds roughly a day to the schedule, Estonia around two. For suppliers based there, routing through Vilnius is usually faster than trucking the lot all the way to Warsaw.
Vilnius or Warsaw: which to choose
Warsaw is faster — 3–5 days, from €400 per pallet, or from €850 for 3 pallets — and the better fit if the supplier sits in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic or elsewhere in continental Europe, since nearly our whole feeder network funnels into the [Warsaw warehouse](/usluga/consolidation-warsaw). Vilnius wins specifically on the Baltic leg, where routing through Warsaw would add an extra day or two of trucking first.
Both hubs handle non-sanctioned cargo only. Lithuanian customs applies strict controls to the export of dual-use goods to third countries — vehicles are routinely scanned at the border, and sensitive items need a manufacturer’s declaration before they can leave the EU. That is the practical reason the EX1 for Vilnius shipments is always lodged remotely, through the [EX1 service](/usluga/ex1), only after the goods have been classified against the EU TARIC.
Sanctions screening comes first
We only handle goods that are not subject to EU, UK, Swiss or US sanctions. Before we quote, we check the HS code of every item and screen all parties to the deal; if a product or a party is restricted, we decline the order, whatever the route or the price.
How Tranzit3 helps
We run the whole chain from the Vilnius warehouse to your Russian customer’s door: pickup, weekly consolidation, remote EX1, customs clearance on the Russian side and last-mile delivery. Send us the weight and the list of items and we will quote the route — and compare it against Warsaw if that turns out faster for your lane.

Questions and answers
How long does groupage from Vilnius to Moscow take?
5–7 days once the lot is consolidated and dispatched, which happens once a week, usually on a Friday or Monday.
What does it cost to ship a pallet through the Vilnius warehouse?
From €300 per pallet, with a minimum service fee of €200 per order and lots accepted from 50 kg.
Can the EX1 be lodged at the Vilnius warehouse itself?
No — for Vilnius shipments the EX1 export declaration is always filed remotely through a customs agent, not alongside the cargo at the warehouse.
When is Vilnius a better choice than Warsaw?
When the supplier is based in Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia. For continental Europe, Warsaw is usually faster and cheaper because the feeder network is built around it.
