How cargo from Europe works
Cargo from EU countries travels to Russia via the Republic of Belarus. The leg is short with minimal transhipment, so the consignment spends 5–7 days in transit — faster than any of our other routes from Europe. Collection time at the supplier depends on the country and the readiness of the goods and is confirmed in the quote.
As with any cargo scheme, the whole journey is organised for the buyer: no foreign trade contract, no registration with a bank and no customs representative on the Russian side. The buyer places the order and receives the goods in Russia.
Typical cargo from Europe is what is needed quickly and in small quantities: spare parts for trucks and special machinery, electronics and components, equipment, tools and consumables for production lines.
What it costs on real weights
The rate is €5–7 per kilogram. A 50 kg parcel of spare parts costs €250–350, a 200 kg lot €1,000–1,400, a tonne €5,000–7,000. Insurance at 0.3% of the declared value is added and, if we pay the supplier on the buyer’s behalf, a 5% commission on the order value. Minimum service fee €200.
Where a shipment falls within the range depends on cargo density, lot size and product category. Light, bulky cargo is priced differently from dense, heavy cargo — send the weight, package dimensions and description for an exact rate.
An honest comparison: for declared freight we charge per package rather than per kilogram — groupage from €200 per package, a euro pallet from €500, a dedicated truck from any European city from €4,500 per trip. So for heavy lots declared logistics are often cheaper than cargo, although duty, VAT and clearance are added and transit is longer. Cargo wins on light, urgent shipments; declared freight on heavy and regular ones. We calculate both and show the difference.
When cargo from Europe is justified
The most common case is an urgent spare part. When a truck, special machine or production line is standing still, every day of downtime costs more than the delivery, and 5–7 days in transit matter more than the difference in rate.
The second case is small lots for the buyer’s own use — components, tools, consumables, equipment — for which closing documents with VAT are not needed. The third is samples and trial purchases before a large contract: check the goods quickly, then ship the main order declared.
We do not carry weapons or ammunition, narcotic or psychotropic substances, goods banned from import into Russia, personal effects of private individuals — or any goods subject to sanctions.
Payment to the supplier in Europe — 5%
Our supplier payment service settles with the supplier on the buyer’s behalf, after which we receive the goods and ship them with the same consignment. The commission is 5% of the order value. For urgent spare parts this link matters: the order is paid for and collected without long pauses, so the days gained on the route are not lost on the payment.
What cargo does not give
With cargo the buyer receives no goods declaration in its company name, no closing documents with VAT shown separately and no certificates for the goods. The customs burden is built into the rate, and VAT cannot be deducted.
For goods that will be sold on marketplaces, in retail chains or resold with documents, declared import is the right choice.
