When a 20-foot container is the right choice
FCL (Full Container Load) means the whole container is reserved for your shipment. The 20-foot container (TEU) is the most common type: up to 25 CBM and up to 22 tonnes of cargo. It is ideal for dense, heavy consignments — machinery, metal products, tiles, chemicals in drums, paper.
Rotterdam is Europe’s largest port, with direct services towards Russia. We work with leading ocean carriers, which keeps rates competitive — from €1,800 per 20′ container.
For you as the exporter, FCL is the cleanest option: the container is sealed after loading, nothing is added or removed on the way, and one set of documents follows it from your gate to your customer’s warehouse.

Can the container be loaded at our factory?
Yes. The container can be delivered to your site for loading, or we collect your goods by truck and stuff the container at our Rotterdam warehouse.
Who handles the export declaration?
We open the EX1 for you and track its closure. You receive the MRN and proof of export for your VAT records.
Is FCL worthwhile for 12 CBM?
Usually not — below 15 CBM, LCL groupage via Rotterdam is cheaper. From 15–18 CBM or for heavy cargo, a 20′ FCL is better value.
