A southern road route to Russia
The route runs from Europe to Turkey, then through Georgia and Azerbaijan to the Russian road crossing in Dagestan. It bypasses the EU–Belarus crossings, where trucks can wait for several days in peak weeks, and it is considerably faster than the southern corridor via Iran: 2–3 weeks instead of 40 days or more.
The route suits consignees in southern Russia, the Caucasus and the Volga region, goods from suppliers in Turkey and the Balkans, and situations where the northern border is congested or unavailable.
For you as the exporter nothing changes on your side: we collect from your dock, open the EX1 at loading and send you the MRN and proof of exit from the EU.

Yes. The EX1 is opened at loading and closed when the truck leaves the EU; we send you the MRN and the exit confirmation.
