Can you carry perishables and frozen food from Europe?
Yes: in a reefer with continuous temperature logging — frozen goods at −18 °C, chilled at +2…+6 °C. Veterinary and phytosanitary documents are prepared before loading.
Can any food be imported into Russia from the EU?
No. Russia bans the import of many food products from EU countries (the food embargo, Russian Government Resolution No. 778) — including many types of meat, fish, dairy, vegetables and fruit. We therefore check the HS code and country of origin before quoting.
Does the reefer cool warm goods in transit?
No: a reefer maintains temperature, it does not cool the load. Products must be chilled or frozen to the required temperature before loading, otherwise the trailer will not reach the set range.
What if the temperature range is breached?
The temperature log shows when and by how much the temperature deviated. It is attached to a claim against the carrier or an insurance claim, which is why we recommend insuring such cargo.
Do sanctions apply to food and pharma?
We handle only goods not subject to EU sanctions and screen HS codes and parties before accepting a booking.
