EAC certification — and declarations of conformity
We arrange the conformity documents your products need to enter Russia and the EAEU: TR CU certificates and declarations, EAC marking, GOST and exemption letters.
The documents your goods need to clear Russian customs
Many products imported into Russia and the EAEU must be shown to comply with technical regulations. Without the right certificate or declaration, customs will not release the goods. We determine exactly which documents your product needs and arrange them.
We work with accredited certification bodies and help with test reports and EAC marking. For you as the manufacturer, the main input is technical information and, where required, samples for testing — we handle the rest together with your Russian customer.
What we arrange
TR CU certificate
Mandatory certification under EAEU technical regulations.
Declaration of conformity
For products where a certificate is not required.
EAC marking
Applying the EAC conformity mark to the product.
Exemption letter
Confirmation that the product is not subject to mandatory certification.

How certification works
- 1HS code check
We establish which regulations apply and whether certification is needed at all — some items enter with a letter confirming no requirements apply. - 2Samples and documents
We request from you the technical description, composition and safety data sheet; samples for testing are imported under a laboratory letter. - 3Testing and issue
An accredited laboratory tests the product, and a certification body issues the document and enters it in the EAEU register. - ✓Marking and import
The EAC mark and Russian-language label are applied before the border; the document is attached to the import declaration.
What we need from you as the manufacturer
- ✓Technical description or datasheet of the product
- ✓Composition and materials; safety data sheet for chemicals
- ✓Samples for testing where the scheme requires them
- ✓Photos of the product, packaging and labels
EAC certification: supplier FAQ
Why is a declaration of conformity needed for export to Russia?
A TR CU declaration or certificate confirms that the product meets EAEU technical regulations; without it customs will not release the goods and sale in Russia is unlawful. We arrange it before import so the goods do not wait at a temporary storage warehouse.
Can the goods be shipped first and certified later?
No: the conformity document is checked at release. Without it the goods stay at the temporary storage warehouse with storage charges. The exception is samples for testing, imported under a laboratory letter.
Certificate or declaration — what is the difference?
A declaration is registered by the applicant on the basis of evidence (often their own tests); a certificate is issued by a certification body after testing in an accredited laboratory. Which one is needed is set by the technical regulation for the product code.
Can I, as a foreign manufacturer, be the applicant?
No — only an EAEU resident: the importer, the manufacturer’s authorised representative or our company under contract. A foreign manufacturer cannot be the applicant itself.
How long is the document valid?
A declaration or certificate for serial production is valid for up to 5 years; one for a batch covers only that batch. The status can be checked in the Rosaccreditation register by number.
