Road freight from Belgium to Russia
We carry goods from Antwerp, Ghent, Liège and the rest of Belgium by road through Germany and Poland, 5–7 days door to door to Moscow. We collect from your premises, lodge the EX1 export declaration on your behalf and send you the MRN, so the exit from the EU is documented for your VAT-free export sale to a buyer in Russia.
Belgium ships a great deal of chemicals, coatings and industrial components. For these we need the safety data sheet (SDS) in advance, and dangerous items travel in a truck with ADR approval. We check this before collection so the goods are not held at a terminal. Smaller lots join the weekly groupage load in Warsaw; full loads go by dedicated truck.

Tips for suppliers
- Send the SDS with your enquiry for any chemical or coating — it decides whether an ADR truck is needed.
- Declare dangerous goods classes and UN numbers up front; they cannot be added to a groupage load at the last minute.
- Heavy chemicals or machinery from Antwerp may be cheaper by sea via Rotterdam — ask us to compare.

How much does road freight from Belgium to Russia cost?
Groupage (LTL) starts from €850 for three pallets from our Warsaw warehouse to Moscow, plus collection to the warehouse priced by distance. A dedicated truck (FTL) is quoted per trip for your route. We do not quote per kilogram: groupage is priced by places and pallets, a truck per trip. The EX1 export declaration is a separate line: €150 when lodged at our Rotterdam warehouse together with our shipment, from €450 when filed remotely. Insurance starts from 0.3% of the invoice value, and the minimum service fee is €200. Send the collection address, weights and dimensions and we reply with LTL and FTL options within 2 hours.
How long does a truck from Belgium take to reach Moscow?
5–7 days door to door on average (route: collection → Germany → our Warsaw warehouse → Brest → Moscow). Groupage waits for the weekly consolidation to close at the warehouse; a dedicated truck leaves as soon as it is loaded. Most of the variation comes from queues at the border and customs clearance in Russia. From Moscow we deliver on to St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk or any other city.
Who lodges the EX1 and how do I get proof of exit?
We do, on your behalf — also when you sell EXW. You provide the commercial invoice and packing list; we issue the CMR, lodge the EX1 and send you the MRN. Once the goods leave the EU, the exit is confirmed electronically and you keep it as evidence for zero-rating the VAT on your sale. Your buyer in Russia handles the Russian import declaration and EAC certificates with our help.
Can you carry chemicals and coatings from Belgium?
Yes, if they are not subject to sanctions and are properly classified. We need the safety data sheet before collection; dangerous goods travel in an ADR-approved truck with the correct documents. We check this in advance so the consignment is not stopped at a terminal.
