Shipping goods from Belgium to Russia

The road leg runs through Germany and Poland to Moscow in 5–7 days; sea groupage from Antwerp via Rotterdam reaches St Petersburg in 12–16 days. Your Russian customer receives the goods cleared and delivered. We work only with companies and sole traders, from 50 kg per shipment (air freight has no weight limit), with a minimum service fee of €200, and we screen every HS code and party before accepting cargo.
How we ship from Belgium to Russia
Sea via Rotterdam
Deliver to our warehouse in the port of Rotterdam (Mon–Wed); the groupage container closes on Friday and sails to St Petersburg at the weekend. 20–35 days door to door, from €200 per place (from €500 per euro pallet). Independent of queues at land borders.
Road via Warsaw
Groupage through our Warsaw warehouse: a weekly truck after the Friday cut-off, from €850 for 3 pallets to a bonded warehouse in Moscow, 4–7 days. Full trucks go direct from your premises, with trailer swap or reloading at the border.
Dedicated truck (FTL)
A truck loaded at your premises anywhere in the EU and driven without intermediate warehouses: from €4,500 Warsaw → Moscow, from €6,200 from Slovenia, from €6,500 from Italy.
Air freight
From any country in 2–8 days door to door via Istanbul or Dubai, charged by volumetric weight (1 m³ = 167 kg), no weight limit. Minimum service fee €200.

What suppliers ship from Belgium to Russia
Belgian suppliers ship chemicals and polymers from Antwerp, pharmaceuticals, machinery and metalworking products from Flanders — pumps, compressors and plastics-processing equipment — as well as food products and chocolate. Chocolate travels temperature-controlled, and chemicals move as groupage or as a dedicated ADR truck depending on their classification. Diamonds and jewellery are subject to EU restrictive measures and are not accepted.

Export formalities
Belgium is in the EU, so an EX1 is lodged with Belgian customs where the goods are loaded. We do this on your behalf: €150 when your cargo travels via our Rotterdam warehouse, from €450 when we lodge it remotely without our transport. For chemicals, a safety data sheet (MSDS) is mandatory; Belgian shippers usually provide it straight away, but we verify the ADR classification ourselves because it decides whether the goods go as groupage or in a separate truck with an ADR-certified carrier.

Practical tips
- Send the MSDS together with the order for any chemical product — without it we cannot confirm how the goods will travel.
- If your customer also buys in the Netherlands or Luxembourg, consolidate everything at one warehouse and ship it as one consignment.
- If the goods turn out to be dangerous under ADR, allow for a carrier with the right approval; flag it early to avoid a re-quote.

How can my customer in Russia pay me?
Through our supplier-payment service: your customer pays a payment agent under an agency agreement, and a partner company resident in the EU settles your invoice in euros by an ordinary bank transfer, quoting your invoice number.
Which documents do I need to provide?
A commercial invoice, packing list and HS codes, plus an MSDS for chemicals. We lodge the EX1 with Belgian customs on your behalf and send you the MRN and proof of exit for your VAT file.
Do you check sanctions before shipping?
Always. We screen the HS codes and all parties against EU, UK, Swiss and US sanctions and dual-use lists before lodging the EX1, and we decline anything that is restricted for export to Russia.
