Shipping goods from Spain to Russia
From Spain, cargo leaves by sea through Barcelona and Valencia or by road in transit through France and Germany. The road leg is long, so groupage departures run to a schedule, and for consignments of several pallets the sea option is often better value. We collect from your premises in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Bilbao, Zaragoza or Alicante, lodge the EX1 export declaration on your behalf and send you the MRN and proof of exit.
Road groupage from Madrid via Barcelona and Warsaw reaches Moscow in 8–12 days; sea groupage from Barcelona or Valencia via Rotterdam takes 18–24 days to St Petersburg. Your Russian customer receives the goods cleared through customs and delivered. We work B2B only, with companies and sole traders, from 50 kg per shipment (air freight has no weight limit) and a minimum service fee of €200.
How we ship from Spain to Russia
Sea via Rotterdam
Deliver to our warehouse in the port of Rotterdam (Mon–Wed); the groupage container closes on Friday and sails to St Petersburg at the weekend. 20–35 days door to door, from €200 per place (from €500 per euro pallet). Independent of queues at land borders.
Road via Warsaw
Groupage through our Warsaw warehouse: a weekly truck after the Friday cut-off, from €850 for 3 pallets to a bonded warehouse in Moscow, 4–7 days. Full trucks go direct from your premises, with trailer swap or reloading at the border.
Dedicated truck (FTL)
A truck loaded at your premises anywhere in the EU and driven without intermediate warehouses: from €4,500 Warsaw → Moscow, from €6,200 from Slovenia, from €6,500 from Italy.
Air freight
From any country in 2–8 days door to door via Istanbul or Dubai, charged by volumetric weight (1 m³ = 167 kg), no weight limit. Minimum service fee €200.

What suppliers ship from Spain to Russia
Spanish suppliers ship ceramic tiles from Castellón, footwear and leather from Alicante and Elche, olive oil and canned food from Andalusia, food-processing equipment from Catalonia, textiles and clothing from Galicia, and sanitary ware for the construction market. Food products need Rosselkhoznadzor (Russian veterinary and phytosanitary) certification and the right storage conditions. We check each HS code against current restrictions before accepting cargo.

Export formalities
Spain is an EU member state, so the export is declared on an EX1 lodged with Spanish customs. We lodge it on your behalf — €150 when your cargo travels via our Rotterdam warehouse, from €450 when lodged remotely — and track the MRN until the customs office of exit confirms departure. Spanish suppliers are happy to work with new buyers but tend to prepare paperwork at a relaxed pace, so allow two to three extra days to receive the invoice and packing list.

Practical tips
- Tiles, ceramics and building materials hit a truck’s weight limit long before its volume — the rate is set by weight, and a full container is usually the better option.
- Road freight across the Pyrenees costs more than from Central Europe for the same weight; for several pallets, compare with sea via Rotterdam.
- Allow two to three extra days for the invoice and packing list when planning the collection date.
