Shipping goods from Germany to Russia
German manufacturers almost always sell EXW or FCA, which means collection from the works and the EX1 export declaration fall to the forwarder. That is exactly what we take on. We collect from your site in Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlin or Leipzig, lodge the EX1 on your behalf and send you the MRN and proof of exit, so you can zero-rate the sale and your goods are released from the EU.
The road leg runs through Poland to our consolidation warehouse in Warsaw, one to two days from most German cities, and on to Moscow: 4–7 days in total. By sea, groupage from Hamburg reaches St Petersburg in 10–14 days and full containers reach Novorossiysk in 16–22 days. We work B2B only — companies and sole traders — from 50 kg per shipment (air freight has no weight limit), with a minimum service fee of €200.

Road via Warsaw
Groupage through our Warsaw warehouse: a weekly truck after the Friday cut-off, from €850 for 3 pallets to a bonded warehouse in Moscow, 4–7 days. Full trucks go direct from your premises, with trailer swap or reloading at the border.
Sea via Rotterdam
Deliver to our warehouse in the port of Rotterdam (Mon–Wed); the groupage container closes on Friday and sails to St Petersburg at the weekend. 20–35 days door to door, from €200 per place (from €500 per euro pallet). Independent of queues at land borders.
Dedicated truck (FTL)
A truck loaded at your premises anywhere in the EU and driven without intermediate warehouses: from €4,500 Warsaw → Moscow, from €6,200 from Slovenia, from €6,500 from Italy.
Air freight
From any country in 2–8 days door to door via Istanbul or Dubai, charged by volumetric weight (1 m³ = 167 kg), no weight limit. Minimum service fee €200.

What suppliers ship from Germany to Russia
The main flow from Germany is production equipment from Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, automotive components from Lower Saxony and the Ruhr, chemicals and pharmaceuticals from North Rhine-Westphalia and electronics from Hesse, alongside finishing materials, sanitary ware and building systems. We handle dangerous goods under ADR and heavy or out-of-gauge items. Many machine-tool and industrial HS codes are restricted for export to Russia, so every item is screened before a contract is signed.

Export formalities
Germany is an EU member state: the goods need an EX1 lodged with German customs in the country of loading. German works usually demand prepayment and precise data for the declaration — your EORI number, the full consignee address and the commodity code. We lodge the EX1 for €150 when the cargo travels via our Rotterdam warehouse, or remotely from €450 without our transport, and track the MRN until exit is confirmed. For the EAEU your buyer also needs a TR CU conformity declaration, which we start preparing as soon as the order is confirmed.

Practical tips
- Run each item through its HS code before signing the contract: some EU goods are subject to export restrictions, and there is no point paying for a delivery that will not be released from Germany.
- Without an EX1 you cannot reclaim export VAT and the goods cannot leave the EU — agree early who lodges it, especially on EXW and FCA sales.
- CE certificates do not replace EAEU conformity; start the TR CU declaration right after the order is confirmed so the goods do not sit in a temporary storage warehouse.

How can my Russian customer pay my invoice?
If a direct transfer is not possible, your customer can use our supplier-payment service. They pay a payment agent under an agency agreement, and a partner company resident in the EU transfers the amount to your account in euros, quoting your invoice number. For you it is a normal payment from a European company.
What documents are needed and who handles the EX1?
A commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes, your EORI number and the full consignee details. We lodge the EX1 in Germany on your behalf (€150 with our cargo via Rotterdam, from €450 remotely) and send you the MRN and proof of exit.
How do you deal with sanctions?
We only handle goods that are not subject to EU, UK, Swiss or US sanctions. Every HS code and every party is screened before the EX1 is lodged; sanctioned and dual-use goods are declined, whatever the route.
