Road freight from Sweden to Russia
Goods from Sweden travel one of two ways. The first is by ferry across the Baltic to Lithuania and on through our warehouse in Vilnius. The second is overland through Denmark, Germany and Poland. From Gothenburg to Moscow takes 5–8 days door to door. We choose the route according to your collection city and the ferry schedule in the week of shipment.
Sweden is in the EU, so we lodge the EX1 on your behalf and send you the MRN as evidence of export for your VAT records. Groupage from our Vilnius warehouse to Moscow starts from €300 per pallet; full loads go by dedicated truck. Before collection we screen HS codes and every party against EU sanctions, so the goods are cleared to go.

A truck loaded at your premises anywhere in the EU and driven without intermediate warehouses: from €4,500 Warsaw → Moscow, from €6,200 from Slovenia, from €6,500 from Italy.

We do not quote per kilogram: groupage is priced by places and pallets, a truck per trip. The EX1 export declaration is a separate line: €150 when lodged at our Rotterdam warehouse together with our shipment, from €450 when filed remotely. How long does a truck from Sweden take to reach Moscow?
5–8 days door to door on average (route: collection → ferry to Lithuania → our Vilnius warehouse → Moscow (or via Denmark and Poland)). Groupage waits for the weekly consolidation to close at the warehouse; a dedicated truck leaves as soon as it is loaded. Most of the variation comes from queues at the border and customs clearance in Russia. From Moscow we deliver on to St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk or any other city.
Who lodges the EX1 and how do I get proof of exit?
We do, on your behalf — also when you sell EXW. You provide the commercial invoice and packing list; we issue the CMR, lodge the EX1 and send you the MRN. Once the goods leave the EU, the exit is confirmed electronically and you keep it as evidence for zero-rating the VAT on your sale. Your buyer in Russia handles the Russian import declaration and EAC certificates with our help.
