Road freight from the Netherlands to Russia
From the Netherlands there are two ways to reach a buyer in Russia. The first is by sea through our own warehouse in Rotterdam, 20–35 days. The second is by road through Germany and Poland, 5–8 days door to door to Moscow. The truck is chosen when the goods are needed sooner: the difference against sea is roughly two to three weeks.
For road freight we collect from your site anywhere in the Netherlands, lodge the EX1 on your behalf and move the goods to our Warsaw warehouse for the weekly groupage load, or send a dedicated truck for a full load. Heavy consignments that are not time-critical are usually cheaper as sea groupage via Rotterdam, from €200 per place — we show both options in one quote.

Road via Warsaw
Groupage through our Warsaw warehouse: a weekly truck after the Friday cut-off, from €850 for 3 pallets to a bonded warehouse in Moscow, 4–7 days. Full trucks go direct from your premises, with trailer swap or reloading at the border.
Dedicated truck (FTL)
A truck loaded at your premises anywhere in the EU and driven without intermediate warehouses: from €4,500 Warsaw → Moscow, from €6,200 from Slovenia, from €6,500 from Italy.

How much does road freight from the Netherlands to Russia cost?
Groupage (LTL) starts from €850 for three pallets from our Warsaw warehouse to Moscow, plus collection to the warehouse priced by distance. A dedicated truck (FTL) is quoted per trip for your route. We do not quote per kilogram: groupage is priced by places and pallets, a truck per trip. The EX1 export declaration is a separate line: €150 when lodged at our Rotterdam warehouse together with our shipment, from €450 when filed remotely. Insurance starts from 0.3% of the invoice value, and the minimum service fee is €200. Send the collection address, weights and dimensions and we reply with LTL and FTL options within 2 hours.
How long does a truck from the Netherlands take to reach Moscow?
5–8 days door to door on average (route: collection → Germany → our Warsaw warehouse → Brest → Moscow). Groupage waits for the weekly consolidation to close at the warehouse; a dedicated truck leaves as soon as it is loaded. Most of the variation comes from queues at the border and customs clearance in Russia. From Moscow we deliver on to St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk or any other city.
Who lodges the EX1 and how do I get proof of exit?
We do, on your behalf — also when you sell EXW. You provide the commercial invoice and packing list; we issue the CMR, lodge the EX1 and send you the MRN. Once the goods leave the EU, the exit is confirmed electronically and you keep it as evidence for zero-rating the VAT on your sale. Your buyer in Russia handles the Russian import declaration and EAC certificates with our help.
