Shipping goods from Norway to Russia
Norway is not an EU member, so each shipment starts with a Norwegian export declaration, followed by T1 transit whenever the goods move through the European Union. We handle both. We collect from your premises in Oslo, Bergen or Stavanger; the goods then travel through Sweden to our consolidation warehouse or by sea to Rotterdam. You receive the export evidence for your VAT records, and your Russian customer receives the goods cleared and delivered.
Road groupage from Oslo or Bergen via Gothenburg and Poland reaches Moscow in 6–9 days; sea freight from Stavanger via Rotterdam takes 12–16 days to St Petersburg. As with Switzerland, non-EU status adds a separate customs stage and makes the route longer than from neighbouring EU countries. We work B2B only, from 50 kg per shipment (air freight has no weight limit), with a minimum service fee of €200.
How we ship from Norway to Russia
Baltic route via Vilnius
Our Vilnius warehouse is the closest EU point to the border for non-sanctioned groupage: from €300 per pallet to Moscow, a full truck from €4,500. Cargo is accepted daily.
Sea via Rotterdam
Deliver to our warehouse in the port of Rotterdam (Mon–Wed); the groupage container closes on Friday and sails to St Petersburg at the weekend. 20–35 days door to door, from €200 per place (from €500 per euro pallet). Independent of queues at land borders.
Air freight
From any country in 2–8 days door to door via Istanbul or Dubai, charged by volumetric weight (1 m³ = 167 kg), no weight limit. Minimum service fee €200.

What suppliers ship from Norway to Russia
Norwegian suppliers typically ship fish-processing and shipbuilding equipment, marine gear and instruments, and food products. Much oil and gas equipment, as well as a number of marine navigation items, is covered by restrictive measures, so we check the HS code and end use of every item. Fish and seafood are a special case: temperature control, veterinary checks and Russian import rules for food apply, so such consignments are assessed individually and accepted only where import is permitted.

Practical tips
- Allow extra time compared with Sweden or Denmark: the Norwegian export plus T1 transit is an additional customs stage.
- For oil and gas or marine equipment, send us the technical description first — many such items are restricted.
- Fish and seafood consignments are priced and assessed individually; ask us before you quote your customer.
