Road freight from Turkey to Russia
There are two road options from Turkey to Russia. The first is by ferry from the Black Sea ports to Sochi or Novorossiysk and then on by truck: 4–7 days door to door to Moscow. The second is overland through Georgia and Azerbaijan to the border crossing in Dagestan. The overland route does not depend on ferry schedules, but its transit time depends on border queues.
We collect from your premises in Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa, Ankara, Mersin or elsewhere and arrange the Turkish export declaration. Groupage from 50 kg is quoted on request, priced by places and weight; a full load goes by dedicated truck. Before collection we screen HS codes and every party against EU, UK and US sanctions lists, and we quote the transit time for the overland route when we price it.

How long does a truck from Turkey take to reach Moscow?
4–7 days door to door on average (route: ferry Istanbul → Sochi / Novorossiysk + road to Moscow; or overland via Georgia and Azerbaijan). Most of the variation comes from queues at the border and customs clearance in Russia. From Moscow we deliver on to St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk or any other city.
Who handles the export declaration?
We arrange the Turkish export declaration on your behalf. You provide the commercial invoice and packing list; we issue the CMR. Your buyer in Russia handles the import declaration and EAC certificates, with our help, and textiles need Chestny ZNAK labelling before import.
Ferry or overland via Georgia — which is better from Turkey?
The ferry to Sochi or Novorossiysk and on by truck takes 4–7 days to Moscow and is the more predictable option. The overland route through Georgia and Azerbaijan does not depend on ferry schedules, but its duration depends on border queues, so we quote it case by case.
